Our photographer

Have you ever wondered who took the gorgeous pictures you can see in our "Gallery"? And who will be there in less than three weeks to document this year's festival? We would like to introduce our photographer, Donna-Lisa Healy!

Donna-Lisa has been involved with Newcastle Noir from its inception as photographer in residence at the Lit and Phil. For her the opportunity to capture the crime writer in the frame is a privilege and also affords the audience greater insight into the festival line-up.

Donna-Lisa works at other literary festivals and cultural events and is hoping to stage an exhibition celebrating international female crime authors to coincide with the centennial celebrations of women’s suffrage in 2018
